The ‘nineoutof10’ project is the brainchild of three like-minded childhood friends. Although all three come from similar backgrounds, we each have our own diverse personalities and style that we bring to the table. Most of the concepts and design are drawn from the kick back and often times, crazy lifestyle of Southern California upbringing, whether it be thought provoking political stances, stupid moments in life, or just inside jokes.

The name ‘nineoutof10’ was chosen because they felt that everyone could draw their own meaning from the phrase that meant something special to them. Of course we also have our own special meaning behind the phrase that we always try to weave into our designs. To us, nineoutof10 has multiple meanings divided into life style and artistic outlook. When we say "the nineoutof10 lifestyle", to us it represents never ending room for improvement. We like to believe that no matter how good we get at something, there is always a next level we can reach. That’s why we thought it was appropriate to adopt the company motto, “Forever Grind”. In terms or artistic outlook and design wise, one thing all 3 members of the nineoutof10 crew have in common is our sarcastic and off beat sense of humor.

The goal of this project is to express our artistic vision as well as our perspective of Southern California life style to the world and reach like-minded souls.
